London’s Notting Hill Carnival 2011

This one is a bit out of order, but it’s a bit of a big deal here so I figured I should make a note.

 
Jenny and I attended the first day of the Notting Hill Carnival, an annual carnival that started in 1964 to celebrate Afro-Caribbean culture. From what I understand, it’s now the largest street party in Europe. I felt like I was at a Bishop’s University Homecoming on a city scale.
